The Total Foundation is based in Paris and was created in 1992 and then had its scope broadened in 2008. The Foundation has a world wide reach while focusing on the Arctic, Asia and the coastal waters of Africa.
The Total Foundation is based on the company’s dedication to being a good neighbour. Rather than simply providing financial support, the Total Foundation is founded on engagement – forging lasting bonds between different cultures, experts and society and the company and its stakeholders. The Total Foundation relies on the proven skills of experts around the world, who participate in achieving the goals of the Foundation.
